Double Figure 8 on a bight (Bunny Ears)
The bunny ears knot is most commonly used to tie a y-hang when rigging ropes, the ‘ears’ naturally providing a loop to be connected to each anchor. It can be quite difficult to tie with large amounts of rope and is therefore better suited to tying small y-hangs.
